About This Piece
Ayn Kabeera - the "big eye" motif - travels down the front of this strapless dress in hand-beaded thread, a symbol long used in Palestinian embroidery to guard against the evil eye. It's a pattern close to home for us: our maternal family is from al-Ramla, where motifs like this one have been stitched into daily life and celebration for generations. Fully lined in mikado, and pairs beautifully with our Taj sheer urea chiffon abaya. Available in black (midi) or champagne and lilac (maxi).

Sizing & Fit
Care Instructions:
Handmade Palestinian embroidery can be delicate, but with the right care, your piece will last a lifetime.
- Hand-wash in lukewarm water
- Use a mild soap (preferably a natural olive oil soap)
- Hang to dry
- For stains on fabric away from the embroidery, spot-clean with detergent
- Iron on low heat with the piece turned inside out to protect the embroidery
