Virtual Photo Tatreez Workshop (Pre-Recorded)

Join Palestinian Tatreez artist Amanne Sharif for an hour and a half pre-recorded virtual Photo Tatreez workshop. Learn how to stitch traditional Palestinian embroidery (Tatreez) directly onto your favorite photographs.

Note: Basic knowledge of Tatreez stitching is required, as this class will not cover the fundamentals.

In this introductory session, you will:

• Learn about the essential materials for photo Tatreez
• Watch a demonstration of designing and executing photo Tatreez pieces (including some digitizing tips and tricks)
• Discuss the logistics of this mixed-medium art form
• Address questions from the design process
• Receive a post-class assignment to design your own photo Tatreez pattern

What you'll receive:

• Upon registration, you will receive access to the pre-recorded class video through a private YouTube link. The video can only be viewed through your registered email address. Please allow 24-48 hours for access.
