This Palestinian Tatreez Al Sheeh cross stitch pattern incorporates traditional motifs from Palestine such as cypress trees, feathers, and most prominently the wormwood plant (also know as white wormwood or Artemisia herba-alba). This plant is a prominent aromatic wild plant in Palestine, growing abundantly in Jerusalem, and areas such as Hebron, Gaza, and the Sinai Desert.
